How to refill the Zippo Windproof lighter with fuel?
You can fill your Zippo Windproof lighter in 3 easy steps:
1) Take out the body of the lighter from the casing.
2) Fill with Zippo liquid fuel. Make sure you do not overfill, excess fluid may leak.
3) Put the body of the lighter back in the casing.
How to replace the flint of Zippo BLU butane lighter?
Turn your lighter upside down and unscrew it. Then, you have to open the lid of your Zippo lighter and pull the flint unit. Remove screw and attached spring. Remove worn flint and drop the new Zippo flint in to the tube. Replace and tighten the screw securely with the tool. Reinsert the wheel/ flint unit in to the lighter. Make sure the unit is inserted with the alignment notch facing the burner. The unit will snap in to place. If wheel binds after new flint is inserted, turn wheel backwards a few times.

How to trim the wick of Zippo Windproof lighter?
When the wick in your Zippo windproof lighter becomes black from carbon, it’s time for some simple maintenance. Here’s how: Pull wick up with pliers until clean wick appears. Cut it off even with top of chimney, and then straighten the wick in the chimney.
Occasionally you may need to replace the wick. Change the wick by using tweezers to remove all packing from fuel chamber. Insert new wick downward through chimney, pulling through with tweezers. Replace packing in small pieces, interweaving the wick between the padding pieces.
